MUSEO SAN TELMO
In the heart of the Old Part of the city, in a magnificent 16-century building that was originally a Dominican monastery, you'll find the San Telmo Museum. After being used as a barracks, it was converted to a municipal museum in the 20th century.
Its Renaissance-style cloister and the former church decorated with canvases by Catalan artist José María Sert, along with all the other parts of the museum, has been renovated and extended, in a plan to revamp the museum and give it a new concept, which affects its definition, aims and mode of functioning. A new museum for everyone.
